2. About These Terms

These Terms of Service apply to all visitors and users of our website, candidates who apply for work through us, and client organisations that enquire about our staffing services.

These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data. If there is any conflict between these Terms of Service and a separate written agreement signed with us, the signed agreement will prevail to the extent of the conflict.

3. Use of Our Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use the website in any way that:

  • Breaches applicable law or regulation
  • Is fraudulent, misleading or harmful
  • Attempts to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data
  • Interferes with the proper functioning or security of the website
  • Uploads malicious code, spam or unlawful content

We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or error-free.

4. Candidate Applications & Registration

Applying for work

When you submit an application or register your interest in work through our website, you agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information about yourself, including your qualifications, experience, availability and contact details.

No guarantee of placement

Submitting an application does not create an employment relationship with us and does not guarantee that work will be offered. We will use reasonable efforts to match suitable candidates with appropriate opportunities, but placements depend on client requirements, compliance checks, availability and suitability.

Free service for candidates

Registration and application through Sláintecare Recruitment is free of charge for candidates. We do not charge job seekers fees to apply for or be considered for roles introduced through our agency.

5. Client & Employer Enquiries

Client organisations may submit staffing enquiries through our website or by contacting us directly. An enquiry does not create a binding contract until any required onboarding, commercial terms and written agreement (where applicable) have been confirmed by us.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about staffing needs, role requirements, site details and any client-specific compliance standards relevant to the assignment.

6. Our Role as a Recruitment Agency

Sláintecare Recruitment acts as a recruitment and staffing agency. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we introduce candidates to client organisations and support the recruitment process — we are not the employer of candidates placed with clients.

Employment or engagement terms, including pay, hours, duties, supervision and workplace policies, are normally agreed directly between the candidate or worker and the client organisation, or as otherwise set out in the relevant placement documentation.

7. Information You Provide

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide to us is accurate and not misleading. This includes CVs, qualifications, certifications, references, right-to-work documentation and any other details submitted during recruitment or compliance checks.

We may verify information provided and may decline to progress an application, registration or placement if information is incomplete, inaccurate or cannot be verified to the standard required for the role or client.

8. Compliance, Vetting & Professional Standards

Healthcare and care settings require high standards of compliance. Candidates may be required to complete vetting, reference checks, identity verification, mandatory training and role-specific compliance requirements before being cleared for placement.

Requirements may include, depending on the role, Garda vetting, professional registration (such as NMBI registration for nurses), safeguarding training, infection prevention training, food safety certification and other mandatory documentation. Candidates must maintain valid certifications and notify us promptly of any changes affecting their suitability for work.

9. Fees & Charges

Our services are free for candidates applying for work through Sláintecare Recruitment.

Fees payable by client organisations, where applicable, will be set out in our commercial terms, quotation or written agreement with the client. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding fee quotation unless expressly confirmed in writing by us.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, branding, logos, layout, images and design — is owned by or licensed to SLAINTE CARE RECRUITMENT AGENCY LIMITED unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or exploit website content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SLAINTE CARE RECRUITMENT AGENCY LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or reliance on information published on it.

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted.

We do not guarantee that any candidate introduced will meet every client requirement, or that any placement will continue for a particular duration. Clients remain responsible for supervision, workplace safety and operational decisions at their facilities.

12. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party sites. Access to third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies.

13. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or refuse access to our website or services where we reasonably believe that a user has breached these Terms of Service, provided false information, or acted in a way that could harm our business, clients, candidates or the public.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made. Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
