What We Offer

We connect care facilities with chefs who understand the standards healthcare kitchens demand — not just commercial hospitality. Every chef must demonstrate professional cooking experience (nursing home experience preferred), HACCP/Food Safety Level 2, allergen awareness, food temperature control, and cleaning & sanitisation standards, alongside our core infection prevention and manual handling requirements. We prioritise candidates who understand texture-modified diets, dysphagia awareness, and nutrition for older adults — because resident safety in the kitchen is as critical as in clinical care.

The ideal chef understands healthcare food standards, works efficiently under pressure, and maintains excellent hygiene — with strong allergen and modified-diet knowledge.

Role Requirements

HACCP/Food Safety Level 2 and allergen awareness

Food temperature control and cleaning & sanitisation standards

Professional cooking experience — nursing home preferred

Modified diet, dysphagia, and nutrition awareness strongly preferred

Required for All Staff

CV with recent work history, valid photo ID, and proof of address

Right-to-work documentation where applicable

Two work references, starter form, and signed contract

Garda vetting completed before activation

Infection prevention & control, fire safety, and manual handling training
